Privacy Policy

SpriteVault ("the app") is operated by LinnTech Solutions, LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have. Questions go to support@spritevault.app.
SpriteVault is a fan-made companion app for tracking a Fortnite sprite collection and arranging in-game trades. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Epic Games, Inc.
Information we collect

We do not collect your Epic Games account credentials, and we have no access to your Fortnite account. Your IGN is simply text you type in. We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone or camera data.
What other users can see
Other signed-in users of SpriteVault can see:
- Your display name and Fortnite IGN
- Your friend code
- Your average star rating and the number of ratings you have received
- Any trade offer you post, including its notes
Your sprite collection is private to your account. Other users only see the specific items you choose to put into a trade offer. Do not put personal information into trade notes or rating comments — those are visible to other users.
Advertising
The app displays ads through Google AdMob. We request non-personalised ads only, and we set the maximum ad content rating to "G" and flag ad requests as being for users under the age of consent. AdMob may still use device identifiers for frequency capping, fraud prevention and aggregate reporting. Google's handling of that data is described in the Google Privacy & Terms.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we ask for your consent before requesting any ad, using Google's certified consent management platform. No ad is requested until you have answered. You can change your choice at any time in the app under Profile → Ad privacy settings.
Children's privacy
SpriteVault is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Creating an account requires confirming you are 13 or older.
If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact support@spritevault.app and we will delete the account and its data.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Google (Firebase and AdMob) — hosting, authentication, database, notifications, analytics, advertising
- Expo — delivery of push notifications to your device
- Other users — only the information listed under "What other users can see"
- Legal authorities — where we are legally required to
Retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → Delete Account. Deletion removes your profile, your sprite collection, your block list, and cancels your open trades.
Ratings you wrote about other traders are kept but anonymised, so that deleting an account cannot be used to erase honest feedback about others. Ratings other people wrote about you are removed with your profile. Backups may persist for a short period before being overwritten.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR in the UK/EU, or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise access and deletion directly in the app, or contact support@spritevault.app for anything else. We respond within 30 days.
Security
Data is stored in Google Firebase and protected by server-side security rules that restrict each user's data to that user. Traffic is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
International transfers
Our infrastructure is provided by Google and data is processed in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Changes
If we change this policy materially, we will update the date above and notify you in the app or by email.
